Event driven campaigns
Event driven campaigns are campaigns in which you respond to predetermined triggers. For example, the purchase of a product or a birthday. But actions or events a relation is unaware of, can serve as triggers for your campaign. Campaigns based on these triggers can be automated using Copernica Marketing Software. This reduces the amount of time and effort you have to spend on these campaigns.
Setting up event driven campaigns

By doing so, you can select the triggers (conditions) your (sub)profiles within your database have to meet in order to receive the specific campaign. The selection is dynamic because it is renewed frequently thanks to built-in scripts within the marketing software.Example birthday mailing:
Create a selection that only includes the profiles of relations who are celebrating their birthday on the 'current date' (daily mailing), or celebrating their birthday between the 'current date' and 6 days earlier (weekly mailing). Use the database field 'birth date' when creating this selection. The next step is creating a birthday template and document which you would like to send. Add some personalization to this emailing. For example, include the relation's name or age. Make sure you test the emailing to check if the personalization works and the selection rules are applied correctly. Schedule your emailing to be sent on a daily or weekly basis. Because selections within Copernica Marketing Software are dynamic, the selection will contain different profiles every day. Your campaign will only be sent to the relevant (sub)profiles.
