Yesterday afternoon, Copernica disabled file downloads upon the discovery of a security risk by one of our users. The reporting user was able to download random files by manually altering URLs. To prevent abuse, all file downloads were disabled completely on the spot.
Split-run functionality available again
Good news! As of now you are once again able to use Copernica’s split-run functionality. Our tech team crawled under the hood of our software, and worked its magic to fix the issues that were causing split-runs to underperform. So go ahead, and give the new split-runs a spin.
Why did we disable split-runs for a while?
There were some technical issues that prevented split-runs from performing as well as we wanted them to. To be able to fix these issues, we had to disable the split-run functionality for a while. The good news is that it is now working better than ever before.
How do I perform a split-run?
Performing split-runs can be done in the exact same way as before we disabled the functionality. So if you sent out split-run mailings before, you already know how it works. You can of course always freshen up your memory by reading the detailed instructions in our help centre
