Copernica REST API coming soon

Written by Edward Touw Clayton van Oostwaard on

Besides our SOAP API , we’ll be offering Copernica users the option to use a REST API connection soon. The REST API will allow you to create applications that can access and modify all data in a Copernica account.

The biggest advantage opposed to a SOAP API is that a REST API is faster, more secure and requires less bandwidth usage. This’ll give developers that want to connect Copernica with another application more possibilities, like the option to design their own interface for the Copernica software.

Also, data will be exchanged more safely and secure, and especially large files will be transferred quicker from one application to the other.
