What does a Junior Sales do at Copernica?

As a Junior Sales, you'll collaborate with our sales team to expand our customer base. You'll establish initial contacts with prospects through phone calls and LinkedIn. With the guidance of your sales colleagues, you'll be prepared to provide these prospects with effective demonstrations of our software. While most of these demonstrations are conducted online, you'll also represent Copernica at expos and events.

Together with the sales team, you'll devise new strategies to optimize the sales funnel. You'll engage with major companies, collaborating on enhancing their email marketing strategies. As these opportunities vary for each company, our sales process becomes both challenging and diverse. Working with achievable targets and guided development, you'll progressively evolve into a skilled sales professional.

Investing in Your Development

To engage with prospects at a high level, we heavily invest in your development. This starts with an onboarding process where you become familiar with our software. Additionally, we provide a training budget that you can use to evolve into a Business Development Manager.

Collaboration with Colleagues and Partners

In this role, you'll be actively involved in acquisition, following up on both your own leads and warm leads from the marketing team. Moreover, numerous companies are referred to us thanks to our extensive partner network of digital agencies and technology partners. Establishing strong relationships with these partners is of paramount importance.

Apart from your acquisition responsibilities, you'll closely collaborate with various departments. You'll have regular discussions with the marketing team to continuously enhance the sales process and lead generation. Our customer success managers are eager to share insights, contributing to the optimization of the customer onboarding process.

Who You Are

You're (almost) a graduate of a college or university program and available for at least two days a week. You have an affinity for IT and Marketing, coupled with a passion for sales. Your communication skills are strong, and you're not afraid to approach (potential) clients via phone. You thrive under deadlines and targets, and can work both independently and within a team. You possess people skills and excel in both Dutch and English.

What to Expect from Copernica

You'll have the flexibility to work at our pleasant office near Amsterdam Central Station or remotely from home. We provide the necessary facilities, including a laptop, desk, and chair.
