Technical support engineer

To strengthen our support team, Copernica is looking for colleagues who help our customers solve (technical) issues. We are looking for both novice and experienced colleagues who like to invest in themselves.

What are you going to do?

  • Answer (technical) questions from customers and partners by telephone and ticket system;
  • Forward bugs and feature requests to the development department;
  • Provide advice to customers and partners;
  • Able to provide training and webinars to (new) customers.

Our ideal colleague:

  • Is in possession of an HBO or academic diploma;
  • Has affinity with IT and marketing;
  • Has basic knowledge of HTML and CSS (Javascript and Smarty is an advantage);
  • Has an excellent command of the Dutch- and English languages, both written and spoken;
  • Has experience with a customer facing role and troubleshooting.

What does a technical support engineer at Copernica do?

As a technical support engineer you are the first point of contact for the customer and therefore the face of the organization. Due to the diversity of the questions, every day is different. The questions can for example be about one of our products (Copernica, SMTPeter or MailerQ), about deliverability or about techniques used by our customers (HTML, CSS, JavaScript or Smarty).

In addition to answering questions, you also have the talent to analyze the environment of the customer and proactively notice and propose improvements.

Good induction process

In order for you to be able to advise customers, we invest in your development. You start with an induction process to get to know our software. After that, you start working on more basic support tickets. The more you develop, the more challenging the issues you work on will be. Your senior colleagues are ready to share their knowledge with you if you get stuck. Finally, we make a training budget available that you can use to develop further as a support engineer.

Our Copernica Marketing Suite is a web application for marketers to create email templates with our drag-and-drop template editor and to sent and automate emails.

Copernica Publisher is our complete email marketing package. It has all the functionality to automate communication flows, via email and sms. We make it easy for marketers to automate mailings based on interactions and all kinds of personal preferences.

MailerQ a flexible and super fast MTA (Mail Transfer Agent). It runs multiple parallel threads to deliver email fast and uses RabbitMQ message queues and JSON making it easy to control a giant email flow.

SMTPeter is mainly an email service for developers. We have made it easy for everybody to send monstrous amounts of email. This simply via our REST or SMTP API. We sign every message with DKIM and catch all kinds of events. Opens, clicks, bounces and DMARC reports.
