Yesterday afternoon, Copernica disabled file downloads upon the discovery of a security risk by one of our users. The reporting user was able to download random files by manually altering URLs. To prevent abuse, all file downloads were disabled completely on the spot.
Once again Copernica is one of the fastest growing businesses in the Netherlands and has received the "FD Gazelle Award", an award presented by the Dutch financial newspaper "Financieel Dagblad", to companies that have had a minimum revenue growth of 20% in the past three years.
This is the seventh subsequent year that Copernica's revenue growth has exceeded 25%. In 2013 Copernica's revenue increased by 38% compared to 2012.
"The revenue growth offers opportunities to investment in innovation" says Michael Linthorst (38). "One of our recent investments is the development of the Mail Transfer Agent MailerQ, which allows organisations to send large volumes of emails at very high speeds. Another one of our current projects is responsivemail.com, an API that transforms JSON-encoded email messages to fully responsive emails that are shown correctly on all devices. This way we respond to the high demand for responsive design. With these innovations Copernica expects to expand globally as a developer of email marketing software.
